Entire process took two + months. actual interview in person was well more than 2 hours and meetings with 3 different people. The individual I interviewed with had not read any part of my resume, and told me so, which is unusual to say the least, particularly given the sheer amount of both our mutual time and energy to get past the fact nothing about my accomplishments and background was known. Impressed overall by the people and culture of excellence at Sage. However, this did not apply to any kind of standard protocol - ranging from ignoring resumes, to any kind of respect in terms of follow up. I had to extract an extremely vague reply well more than 3 weeks later. There seems to be a disconnect from the reality of the time and energy investment asked of job seekers who fit the ideals and vision from the company from the reality: job seekers are looking for employment, and almost everyone has a finite amount of time for the process, and it is stressful. Sage, please apply your hospitality principles across the board, and walk the talk with your applicants to create mutual courtesy and respect. Absolutely fundamental to your brand and basic decency.
