My overall interview experience with Samcom Technobrains was quite disappointing due to several unprofessional aspects throughout the process.
The initial rounds went as expected – resume screening followed by an aptitude test and a basic HR round. However, during the technical interview, the interviewer was noticeably rude and dismissive in tone, which made the environment uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
In the practical round, candidates were asked to use the company’s systems. Unfortunately, the system provided to me was faulty and caused significant issues while attempting to complete the task. Instead of acknowledging the technical problems, the blame was shifted onto me as the candidate, which was both unfair and frustrating.
Additionally, there seemed to be internal politics affecting the hiring process. Some candidates with internal references reportedly received interview questions in advance, which raises serious concerns about transparency and fairness.
Despite clearing all the rounds, the final offer was highly discouraging. The HR offered a significantly low salary package that didn’t align with my 3 years of experience. On top of that, they imposed a 1-year bond and demanded a security cheque, which is extremely concerning and unprofessional for experienced professionals.
Overall, the process lacked clear communication, professionalism, and fairness. I would advise future candidates to approach this company with caution and be fully informed before proceeding with their interview process.
