I was contacted via LinkedIn about an opening, which lead to quick phone call with the recruiter and then a call with the hiring manager. The process took 4 weeks. The call with the hiring manager seemed natural (more like a conversation) but she did ask some very specific questions. It was not a simple 'getting to know you/your background' interview.

Applied through a recruiter. Got a phone screen asking about my previous experience in events planning. The person I talked to did not sound interested and was extremely distracted. I knew right off the bat that I would not be getting called back but I understood, especially after that awkward phone call.
