Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Samsung Electronics (Suwŏn, Kyonggi) nel mese di nov 2018
Colloquio
first they check your resume most of people pass this since coding test will be a bit hard.
second, coding test. it's usually simulation and BFS, DFS. if you study those, you will pass smoothly.
and then, there are three interviews and you will have it on A day.
Those are testing your creativity(your creative ideas), tech skills( there are three topics and you choose one with brief description and then you will get three questions related with the topic you choose) and then seeing your personality.
First, most of people's idea is similar so they dont expect much on the creativity test.
and tech interview can be tricky or harsh depending on your GPA (if you have low GPA, they will probably ask you more to test you actually know this or not)and you.
But the personality one is ridiculous. one of interviewers asked me what companies I applied other than Samsung(three times. GEEZ. I thought they forgot that they already asked this and I answered. I didnt give them exact name but I told them like a company doing this and this.) and they asked me if I dont get offer from Samsung, will I go other company.
This interview made me not want to go Samsung.
One of my friend also got the same interview, and they asked her what she gonna do if she got married or pregnant. These are not right but since the interviewers are old and korea doenst have proper law to keep gender equality.
I would rather work for other company.

The interview mainly focused on Data Structures and Algorithms. Most questions were from Graphs and Dynamic Programming, with graph problems involving BFS and related traversal techniques. The discussion emphasized problem-solving skills, algorithm optimization, and coding implementation.

Two interview rounds: an initial HR screening call, followed by a technical discussion with a Samsung employee, and a final HR round. Overall, the process was smooth, structured, and well-coordinated.

In person interviews, asked two leetcode easy questions but need to write code on paper. They focus a lot on your past experiences as well. Know the skills you put on your resume and you will be fine.
