I applied through a HR. No phone interview, just on site only. The process took 1+ months. I interviewed at Samsung Electronics in June 2010. The on site interview was completed in a single day.

I had on site interview. We talked in detail about my background, thesis and job expectations. The interviewer asked me why i am more focused on writing patents. I was told they will make a decision in two weeks.
