I recently interviewed with Sanofi but ultimately did not receive an offer. While not receiving an offer in itself is not unusual, the way I discovered that I was not selected was disappointing. The interview process consisted of five rounds and spanned over four months. Eventually, when I checked their career portal while looking at another role, I noticed that the position for which I had advanced—and had been told I was a top applicant—was marked as “not selected for further rounds” (or similar). Although everyone I interacted with was polite and professional, no one provided direct feedback on my performance, either via email or phone. I have no issue with the outcome itself, but after multiple interviews and significant engagement throughout the process, I believe some form of constructive feedback would have been the minimum expected courtesy. That said, the interview process was well-organized and facilitated, and the company appears to be a positive workplace from an outsider’s perspective. My disappointment is primarily related to the length of the process and the way the decision was communicated.
