The interview process involved a first step interview with the hiring manager, a task and a presentation to the CEO.
The task was very odd for a graphic designer role, wanting you to showcase only moodboards for a product launch, no creation of actual assets was requested so it seemed more like a task for a marketing manager or a design lead than a graphic designer.
I then had to present the task in person to the CEO, and was then told I would hear within a week or two, yet I never heard anything from them.
The lack of respect for people’s effort and time was very shocking, it’s standard practice to tell applicants whether they have received the role or not and provide feedback. Very disappointing behaviour after 3 stages and a massive red flag.

A WHOLE BIG MESS.
After applying, I was interviewed by the Marketing Director straight away - then GHOSTED for A MONTH.
Low and behold - I was invited back for an interview, as long as I responded to a HUGE creative task (a red flag - if you know, you know) - after presenting the task at interview to Sarah, the CEO, Marketing Director and outsider Brand Consultant - I was ghosted for ANOTHER two weeks and ghosted over three times when I tried to grasp a timeline.
Long and short - their recent Art Director & Graphic Designer have both mysteriously left the business - I'm not sure they know what position they're hiring for, the interview was very informal - almost like they were seeking gossip from other brands I'd worked at, a very strange take but each to their own.
