Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Scheels (Bismarck, ND) nel mese di set 2017
Colloquio
It was a phone call interview, after submitting a resume online. It lasted about 30 minutes, the questions asked were more character driven questions rather than typical qualifications, although qualifications were talked about as well.
I had a total of 3 interviews. One over the phone the other 2 in person. First interview was over the phone with a HR person and was appropriate/standard for a first screening. Second interview lasted a couple hours with of course some of the same redundant hypothetical questions the HR person had asked. I also had to write 4 pages of hand written spelling, math and essays. All of this for a Bike technician? Don't they have computers? What company actually has paper and hand writes anything anymore? Third interview I thought was going to be more toward the actual skills of the job for example change this tire. No it wasn't. Once again redundant hypothetical questions. All this for a low paid bike technician position. After all of this they offered the job at $10 per hour which I accepted but then last min they said I had to shave off my goatee. Because I look much better with the trimmed/groomed goatee I declined and therefore the offer was withdrawn. The entire process was very strange and left a very bad taste in my mouth about this company. I will not be shopping at Scheels in the future.
