Nach meiner Online-Bewerbung wurde ich relativ schnell kontaktiert (Ca 1 Woche). In einem ca 1h Skype Gespraech mit dem zustaendigen Personalleiter wurde mir vieles ueber die Firma erzaehlt, es wurden die Eckpunkte der ausgeschriebenen Stelle erklaert und es wurde mir Gelegenheit gegeben mich vorzustellen und selbst Fragen zu stellen. Zum Abschluss des Gespraechs wurden mir dann die naechsten Prozessschritte mitgeteilt und mit der Ansage dass man sich naechste Woche bei mir melde beendeten wir das Gespraech. Leider habe ich nie wieder etwas von der Firma gehoert, telefonische und elektronische Kontaktversuche meinerseits blieben unbeantwortet. Es ist nicht tragisch wenn sich ein Unternehmen fuer einen anderen Kandidaten entscheidet, jedoch bin ich der Ueberzeugung dass die Hoeflichkeit wenigstens eine offizielle Absage-sei es telefonisch oddr per Mail- gebietet.

Talent management and recruiting at Schindler is a passive, low interaction process. In my experience it has been a slow, uncoordinated and ineffective process that lacked clarity and any type of timely feedback.

I was supposed to have an interview with two people; however, only one person show up. What made the interview process negative was the ghosting afterward. The interview went well and I was told that I should hear back within a week. I sent a Thank You email the night of the interview that thank everyone... no response, which is fine. However, when I follow up on the status of my candidacy a week, I received no response. I followed up again the following week and again no response for anyone. My follow-up emails were completely ignored and disregarded. I understand everyone gets busy but to ignore candidates and not inform them of the status of their candidacy after an interview is poor etiquette and disrespectful especially when it's being done by numerous people within the company.

What made you interested in applying for this role?
Great professional people and supportive while interview was taking place, they make us comfortable and then proceeded ahead. It was good experience but at some level needed to change methods from their end.
