The interview process was okay. The recruiter is really nice and warm and gave good morale on how the interview process should go.
The process was mostly recruiter round, technical loops (HM chat + system design + live coding) and the exec loop, but the process changed mid-way as the live coding round with an engineer changed to working on an open issue in the adcp open-source codebase(together with a bit of exec round) which I found interesting but bizzare, and definitely sets you up to fail. This was the 4th round and I didn't move forward but happy I didn't for these reasons
- the interviewer that handled the (live-coding on an open issue in the adcp repo in real time) displayed some serious red flags that exposes the fact that if you value psychological safety, its best to not join this place.
- interview changing mid-process shows a lack of balance and settlement in the company
Ultimately, I would say if you value strong engineering culture, team spirit. structure and strong leadership and more impactful work, here might not be the right place for you. So choose wisely.

Both interviews I had were very friendly and professional. They asked directed questions about my experience with their tech stack and working on product teams.
These were the interviews I did:
1) Recruiter Screening
2) Interview with Lead Engineer
I exited the interview process voluntarily. The company is going through a transition right now that isn't climate aligned, and is becoming a full ad-tech + AI company.
