The job was posted on the local council's website. They responded almost immediately and scheduled a phone interview for the next day. This was with the Office Manager, who brought me in the following Monday for an interview with the head scout for the distrcit. He arrived late and was not very polite about it. We talked about a lot of things initially like the reasons for my interest, my skills, what I thought of myself. However, he really stressed the position as sales and started asking about previous sales experience.

Usually 3 interviews- important to do research and come prepared on who is interviewing you. They like to know how you will interact with people as it’s very people facing.

2 zooms with Scout Executive and manager of program over the council. It is fairly quick. I was asked about my experience, working with volunteers, nonprofits and youth. There were benefits I explained along with pay, etc. The time commitment was totally dishonest, along with many of the other tasks.
