      Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 7 mesi. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Seagate Technology (Fremont, CA) nel mese di ago 2017

      Colloquio

      Uncoordinated to say the least. From the time of the phone interview to the actual on site interview was a span of more than 6 months. This was due to HR having to change the interview date schedule because Seagate couldn't get their scheduling and people in one room. After constant e-mailing for months I had started to think that a company as big as Seagate has extremely poor recruiting practices. It was actually insulting when HR and even the Hiring Manager stopped responding to your e-mails and I'd assumed that it wasn't worth contacting them again. However, after more than 6 months, I had gotten an e-mail from HR asking me if I was "still interested" in the technical role. Even though being employed, I was interested touring and seeing their Fremont Research Center so I had said yes. Initially it was supposed to be a 1 on 1 interview with 6 different people (30-45 mins each). At the last minute they decided to do all the interviewing at once within an hour. One of the most inexperienced interviewing process I had underwent. Reading the responses that regular full time employees have about Seagate (in terms of under-appreciation, constant layoffs, downsizing etc), I'm not surprised that they would treat their potential employees in the same manner. To them, our time/efforts/planning is not worth their consideration. Only when they see it accommodating to their schedule to call you onsite, they will.

      - Explain the concept of CMP. What process control variables would you prioritize in achieving uniformity? - SPC questions, and asking questions about describing a time when I had to troubleshoot a machine error.
