All I got was the recruiter call which went extremely well, each party deemed it a strong potential fit. I was told there would be an assessment and that the next steps would be a director/supervisor interview. With the effort put into the assessment, I was proud of the submission. After a week of no response, I sent a follow-up email. My intuition began telling me something was off. I hadn’t heard anything back and decided it wouldn’t be worth it to reach out again or track another recruiter down to work with instead. It’s a shame, I can only begin to imagine why I’d been ghosted. A quick denial is more respectable. I would believe the reviews of shadiness. There probably might be a false or forced sense of a “wholesome” culture going on. So much for the fast hiring process they promote. A month later I get the automated notice my application was turned me down, as though it was a lingering action item. Wishing them best of luck. Hopefully after seeing this they’ll consider tweaking their processes.
