Students were shortlisted based on online quantitative analysis then there were 3 rounds of interview. First round was technical round and second round was also technical and third round was hr round

Recruiter was nice, offered to reschedule, technical assessment was hard but still got past it. First round was horrible. Person I talked to was extremely rude. Unlike most interviews, he didn’t ask a single question about my prior experience, projects, or skills, which I prepared for. Instead asked a random open ended question involving a situation at their company. I eventually arrived at the right answer for the question asked but was told directly during the interview I wouldn’t get passed to the next round just because I took too much time to come up with the answer and couldn’t formulate the point quick enough. He also abruptly just ended the call. The company culture seems like trash with little respect to applicants/employees based on what I’ve seen and other reviews. Probably one of my worst interviews.
