The first step was two assessments, one a test with a lot of percentage / profit type questions, and a IQ test (I like fast cars. True or False? etc.)
The interview was about 4 hours with two different people. First person was a lot of "tell me aboout a time..." Then I was given a half hour to look over a case study, then spoke with the second person about what I would do going into a job based on the case study, followed by more "tell me about a time" questions. We then took a quick tour of the department, and that was it.
About 4 hours total for the interviews.
About 3 weeks later I got the offer.

Straight forward and, basically, the same as other interview processes with similar companies for this type of position. The questions were multi-faceted and required more of a scenario type of answer. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Filled out the application on line. 2 days later got a 45 minute assessment that had to be filled out. 1 week later I received an email confirmation that they were interested in me. 1 week later I received a call from the Store Manager for an interview. 2 weeks later I had a phone interview with the District Manger. He presented an alternative option to the original position that I interviewed for. Another Store Manager called to offer me the job and salary. I turned it down. I heard back from the District Manager several times before I accepted the job. He did get closer to what I was wanting as my salary requirement. I should have stayed with my previous job because promises were made that never came close to what was agreed upon in taking the job.

None of them were. If you have been in any kind of Retail Management position, you are familiar with all the scenario's that they throw at you.
