I missed the first date of the interview, but the HR team was so cooperative to offer me another date based on my convenience. The recruitment lounge, fitted with numerous videos made a good feel. The ambiance was so comfortable that interviewees could open the referigerator and serve themselves with cold beverages of their choice. I was elated to think that the company really feel for it's people- even before they hire ones!!!

The questions wer very much industry based so there was hardly any chance of difficulty. Well unexpected one was when the Tech Head asked me who was my favourite author! I never expected he will ask me something like this, but later realised he just wanted to check my overall knowledge and just make the conversation flow.

They took 2 hours long written test. After I cleared that, I went for 1st technical round. Interviewer and HR told me that my profile is not suitable for Lead position so they are offering me Senior software engineer role, but for that I have to come on weekday for 2nd technical round. When I went for interview on weekday taking off at my current office, the interview panel started discussion with HR like we cannot take 6+ experience guy for SSE position and they cannot take my interview. After there discussion just for sake of interview HR called some other Lead to take interview which lasts hardly 10 minutes. I felt cheated. As my time and day was wasted. I am seeing from past 6 months many of my friends are going there but no one has got offer. They just call you and waste your time.
I complained to the concerned consultancy also.
DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING SEARS FOR INTERVIEW GUYS.

Just attended the first round that was written exam, did pretty well but was told by HR that I wasn't selected. They call people just for time pass and waste there time.

Colloquio
I applied in their website when I got to check the vacancy for the said position. Within a week I got a call from their HR team to fix a quick telephonic interview with the Manager. Soon after that was done, I was asked by the HR team to come to the Sears Pune office for next round of interview. The HR personnel greeted me very nicely when I arrived at the office and escorted me to the interview lounge. The members of the interview panel were pretty professional and balanced in their questions and behaviour. It was all overall a great experience.

I did not expect the interviewer to ask me about my favourite literary novel! But then realised it was my mistake as I mentioned reading literature in my hobbies. Guys! the SHI team is extremely careful with regards to what you write in your CV to who you actually are!
