My experience with the technical interview is- interviewing a candidate is a skill and not everyone has it. The1st call came from HR to discuss the fit and she scheduled an interview. The interview got postponed just at the time it was suppose to happen then the HR re-scheduled it. The interviewer joined late and asked me to share eclipse or any online compiler. HR has not mentioned any such thing in the mail that my laptop must have an IDE. The interviewer was arrogant, and was more keen on compiling the code correctly with proper syntax without any help than the logic part. He asked some silly java related bookish questions. His own knowledge on the particular subject was doubtful. He kept on giving me 2 to 3 more problems and asked to code and compile with proper syntax as if he was giving me a chance. I lost interest from this entire interview process. The interview schedule was almost over but the interview kept on asking things so I politely asked him as the time is over I wont be able to continue.
