Had an hour long phone call with HR and she was excited about my potential in the company. Then met with the hiring manager and one other team member - was told to prepare 3 marketing projects to walkthrough to show my expertise and answers to 4 questions (all relevant to marketing). They where kind, and I felt like we had good vibes throughout but they only ask me things like my favorite band, movie, or other "dating app-like" questions. Nothing about what I was asked to prepare. Hiring manager ended it with saying I was a great fit - "almost over qualified" from my experience. Then I got a cold email from HR saying they were moving forward with another candidate.
