I really like the first 2 interview process from the company, that's the reason why i apply when there is a new job. Senior Golang Developer (Vang Team) JR100412 Process Completed November 13, 2025 Senior Backend Developer (Ryte Crawler Team) JR100304 Process Completed October 6, 2025 but this interview process Senior Backend Developer (Tim Team) JR100532 Process Completed February 3, 2026 is so unprofessional. It's really shock me if this is how the company process with the candidates. I apply in Jan, and now the website workday said my Process Completed, i dont even get an reject email, just an email said he had received my application and will notify me if any update. But no, up until now the only email i receive is the email fron a BOT. Said i have finished the interview process, what the hell. That's so un professional. I really like semrush product and how interview was in the 2 previous ones. Really disappointed.

However, my experience with this process was extremely disappointing: Senior Backend Developer — Tim Team JR100532 Process Completed: February 3, 2026 To be honest, this process felt very unprofessional. I applied in January 2026, and HR told me that my application had been received and that I would be notified when there was an update. Based on my previous positive experience with Semrush, I took this seriously and spent a significant amount of time preparing for the interview. Then one week passed. Then two weeks. Then one month. Then four months. There was no update. I sent two follow-up emails asking about the status of my application, but I received no response at all. Then today, May 3, 2026, I suddenly received an automated email saying that my interview process had been completed. Completed? I was never even given the chance to interview. There was no interview, no feedback, no update, and no proper communication. After spending so much time preparing and waiting, this was extremely frustrating and disappointing. This experience has seriously damaged my impression of Semrush. If this is how candidates are treated, especially candidates who have already gone through previous interview processes with the company, then it reflects very poorly on the hiring process. I understand that companies may decide not to proceed with a candidate. That is normal. But completely ignoring follow-up emails for months and then closing the process with an automated message is not acceptable. You people talk about "We put a lot of effort into making sure our candidates have the best possible experience. " But if this is how you treat candidates then im disappointed. I expected much better from Semrush.
