Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Sensor Tower (New York, NY)
Colloquio
Three individual phone screens for 45 minutes each. First one was with the hiring manager, Second one was with the engineering manager and one was with a peer. Then a group phone screen consisting of three peers and a manager. They contacted the three references I provided and completed a criminal background check along with a verivacation of previous employment and then a verbal offer and shortly after a written offer.

Colloquio
(recruiter screen --> hiring manager screen --> take home assignment --> virtual onsite)
Pros:
The recruiter was always quick to respond & communicative about next steps, and I was touched that they sent me a gift card for lunch on the day of my virtual onsite.
People, for the most part, asked interesting questions, and felt like it gave a good sense of the job and company as a whole. They clearly like working there/together.
Cons:
I have to be honest, even though I got to final stages, I pretty much felt bad about myself at each step in the process. Interviewing with them felt similar to trying to sit at the main clique's table in high school - that I needed to impress at each step.
The onsite was a 4 hour Zoom call with 20 minutes for lunch, so I barely had time to eat and was out of steam by the end when the hiring manager went over our time and was grilling me on domain knowledge. Didn't feel like a totally fair assessment of my abilities to do the job.
The recruiter followed up with good feedback and I appreciate that. Overall, there were definitely good and bad elements to the process.
