There wasn't an interview. My understanding is that they're growing fast and when you apply on their website they say you will hear back one way or another in two weeks. Well, its been a month. One of my pet peeves is when you over promise and under deliver. If you're growing that fast then don't promise to get back to every candidate in two weeks. Also, make up your mind as to what you're looking for. The job description has changed various times. Mistakenly, and ultimately what you will higher for this role is someone that came from banking because you think this person will get you the next funding you need and it will keep the VC's/PE's happy, just like every other startup. If that's the case then don't put in the description that you want someone with a hybrid accounting/finance background.
