I was offered free fountain drinks while the manager was wrapping up a busy rush. I waited in the dining area. Introductions were made. She was the assistant manager, managers don't really do any hiring of cashiers. She asked how I would handle working with someone I didn't like, if I missed any days at work, availability, and the classic "tell me about a situation where you..."

How would I handle working with someone I didn't like
Slow comming. Took forever to call, made me really question if they were really wanting to hire someone or just wanted their people to be understaffed. Took 6 months before they even called to schedule the interview.
It was really simple and easy. Sat down with the manager and was mainly was asked questions about myself and my background. There was maybe 1 situational question that she asked.
I have over 10 years customer service experience and I got passed over other candidates who had less experience than me. They care little about your experience. Terrible company to interview with.
