There are three different interview parts. The first is the online portion which includes three tests, behavioral, problem solving, and a timed math quiz. You can find practice math quizzes online. If you pass all of that you will be set up for a phone interview which is behavioral based and just the regular questions. It was nice because I was being interviewed by an actual engineer and not hr so you could nerd out a bit! If you are successful then, you are booked for a Shell Recruitment Day (SRD). It is a day of assessment and is pretty nerve wracking. You'll have a non assessed first night where you meet people that will be in your team, there will be about six applicants total. You are not being compared to each other. You will also have a dinner with some EiTS that can answer some questions. A lot of times they haven't taken the SRD because it is relatively new. In the morning you'll be given a quick breakfast of fruit and muffins and then start on the stray exercise. It is longer than the practice with more documents to read. After that you will have your group discussion where they give everyone separate cards with information on it. You need to work as a team to brainstorm stakeholders and rate you're action items to mitigate the problem. After you will then proceed to the self evaluation interview which is one on one with an assessor. They will ask you what you think you did bad, good, and why. Also how could have you done better. After that it is lunch time where you sit with the assessors and can ask questions and chat. Following lunch there is a case study where you will have time to read the document and then present your case in front of two assessors. You then have to defend your case and answer a series of questions. After that you will have a basic interview with two other assessors that will be asking you basic questions similar to the phone interview.
