I applied online, did a personality test, and an aptitude test online.
After a few months, I was called for a phone interview after which i was invited or a shell recruitment day exercise.
The SRD was hectic. There was an e-tray exercise, a group exercise, a case study and a personal interview. By the end of the day, I was exhausted with the worst headache ever.
A few months after the tedious process, i was told i was successful in the SRD exercise, but there was no vacancy for me. My application was closed.
I went through the entire stressful process only to be rejected because someone advertised for a job they did not have to offer.
In as much as my experience was bad, I liked how much they tried to be transparent in their assessments. It was nearly impossible for someone with a personal vendetta against you to sabotage your application.

Great interview, interactive, interesting, inclusive. The HRs are professional and responsive. I finally secured an offer but I did not accept the offer eventually but I respect the company so much.
virtual job tryout and on-demand video interview as the first stage of assessment, hosted on the platform hirevue, after application via shell’s site. questions are asked on the site and you have to record your answer using a working electronic device and you get to record unlimited times for your response.

tell me about yourself and why you want to work for shell
The interview includes situational and personality questions followed by an asynchronous interview with 3 questions. There is no limit in re-shooting your answers. You will be given 3 minutes to answer each question.
