Online application / resume submittal led to an initial email response requesting a phone interview. Phone interview was scheduled via email. Phone interview was thorough and I felt like it went very well. In the end they gave the position to the existing Asst Mgr, and I suspect that was the plan all along.

Once I applied through the online intranet portal for Sherwin Williams employees I talked to the sales manager in charge of hiring me twice on the phone before meeting with the District Manager in person. I flew into Phoenix, AZ (from El Paso, Texas) to meet the District Manager and interviewed with him at the airport. I would rate the overall experience as positive.
