Went for two levels of interviews for a regional role in marketing. HR was pleasantly responsive and provided timely communication throughout the process. It was fast and efficient. Interview with the hiring manager is where it fell apart. Interviewer asked pointed questions on very specific topics, without really trying to understand (or perhaps had no time) to understand reasoning. Hiring manager lacked communication skills: She would cut me off mid-speech which I found very rude; and could not articulate her own questions well, looking visibly upset /defensive when I simply probed or asked in order to clarify. Interview felt one sided. I hope it was just the department I interviewed in, but if not, then this experience says so much about the work culture they have.
