1. Life story interview which went well. Immediately offered to interview for next round which was a mini case study 2. Mini case study round went really great. Interviewer was really nice and asked some thoughtful questions. More of a collaboration like real world working environment. Expected to move to next round. Post this, no decision or next steps shared - neither acceptance nor decline. Recruiter completely ghosted. Till date no response after multiple follow ups. Its a shame for company like shopify to treat candidates like this. We understand that internal re orgs / hiring freeze etc sometimes causes recruiting to be put on hold. Or sometimes you are not able to move forward. Least you can do is be transparent and give a response back. Truly disappointed- what a shame !
