First round was phone interview. Interviewer asked behavioral questions and very basic technical questions to see if I am culturally fit or not and then they asked for in-person interview. I came all the way from another state and they did not provide any reimbursement. First round was with two engineers so, It was technical and asked for white board coding to check DS and algo knowledge then next round was with Director and VP of technology and first one was focused on Database and second was on class implementation and OOPs. They were nice people, I like all the interviewers. they made me feel comfortable. the only thing that made my experience extremely negative is at the end of interview, HR told me he should be able to get a response by end of week and my interview was on Monday. Next day, I dropped a thank you note and HR responded to it and assured me whatever will be the result he will let me know. Well, Friday came and I called him and emailed him. He did not respond. I emailed and called on Monday, Wed, next Fri and no response. I knew they were interviewing more people but this is just disrespectful and kind of unprofessional to keep quiet and say nothing back. He could have just replied back saying we are taking more time to decide or whatever the reason of delay is. I feel like I had every right to know the status of my application and I learnt a lesson that people who don't care about your time and money. You should not go for them at all. My flight tickets, cabs, accommodation, food , train costed me a lot and on top of that I went for interview to people who don't care. I will advice anyone who is interviewing this company. Only interview If you are local. they don't care about your time or money and interview will be 3-4 hours long interview so, pretty exhausting. Well, HR did reply me using jobscore email saying will not be moving forward but after 2 weeks, I would have respected them more If they would have written an email personally to me or told me this over phone call.
