Interviewed on Microsoft teams but I can't tell if its a scam or not. Gave me an offer letter the next day and wanted me to start work immediately. I asked why the turn around time was so fast and they declined to answer.

Questions seemed fine up until they started asking for my banking information to reveal that the equipment they said they would supply would actually have to be purchased by me through the money they plan to send me. First red flag. Long story short they didn’t honor the check. It’s a scam. They’re taking peoples money, don’t be like me.
