      The frustrating part was not the interview itself — it was the HR and post-interview experience, which honestly felt like the usual corporate template where candidates are expected to keep waiting endlessly without basic courtesy updates. Even though it was only one round, there was almost zero proactive communication afterward. Repeated follow-ups were needed just to get any response, and even then the replies were vague, delayed, or completely generic. What’s disappointing is how common this behavior has become with HR teams across companies. They expect candidates to be responsive, punctual, and transparent, but fail to maintain the same standards themselves. A simple update or honest timeline would have been enough instead of making candidates chase for weeks. For experienced professionals managing jobs, interviews, and preparation simultaneously, this kind of unprofessional communication reflects poorly on the organization. Overall, the interview panel interaction was decent and professional, but the HR coordination and closure process significantly damaged the overall candidate experience.
