I applied at Signicat in May 2021 for the Python/Django role. They contacted me at the end of June 2021 and invited me to the first call to get to know each other. I met with the two senior developers in that call and it went well. There was no HR interview prior to this call. The task was given to me with a deadline of 24 hours having no description at all. So I worked on the task with the assumptions. Then they invited me for the second interview call to discuss the solution. That call was full of non-seriousness. The duration was short so we couldn't discuss the entire task solution. They even didn't read the README file of the task and didn't pay heed to the solution. They asked me to write a unit test in the interview. I got a rejection with the feedback about limited knowledge of the common practices in web application building and testing even though we didn't go through even detailed interview because of the shortage of time. If the developers are responsible for scheduling the interview calls that I am not sure what the HRs are doing in this company. I am really disappointed with the interview process.
