Internal recruiter contacted me about the position, then the following rounds: 1) Submitted webcam video responses to simple questions (called "on-demand interview") 2) 1-hour technical interview with two research scientists 3) 30 min, 90 min, 1 hour, and 1 hour interviews with 1, 4, 2, and 1 interviewers respectively 4) Ad-hoc phone call with Head of Research 5) Potentially yet another phone call with another person I will just note that I wanted to cancel before the 3rd round as I had offers on the table that were set to expire. I politely said as much to the recruiter. He personally assured me that they could get a definite response the following day. Instead, he told me the following day they would like to move forward ... with yet another phone call. After committing 5 hours to interview on his word, I went ahead with the call the next day. On the call, the person suggested they should schedule yet another call with another person higher up. I replied that the timing was not working out so maybe we should move on. He agreed.
