The interview process was very long, 6-7 rounds of interviews and one case study, the HR was extremely slow in responding. Most of the questions were around new product development and agile methodology

1st round with hiring manager
2nd round (final) with hiring manager's bosses
In the second round I was asked who I knew at SVB. I mentioned a name, and then was told to await HR's approach for references.
Beware of this tactic as it is clearly a trap to snare candidates to keep them warm - especially if they cannot make an outright decision. The HR team were then extremely poor in responding to any mode of communication - text, email, and phone call over 2 weeks later to understand what was going on.
I was told they (SVB) wanted the process wrapped up by Xmas, again another lie.
The 2 men who interviewed me told me to wait for HR to request references - this implies an offer was forthcoming. I asked twice to be sure of what I was told.
As a consequence. - I turned down another company offer in the meantime, whilst I awaited the HR approach.
Then after me chasing I got a decline, with no clarity on why whatsoever.
A ruined process - made worse by lies and poor inaction by multiple stakeholders.
Do not trust this company.
