Their recruiter reached out to me after I had interviewed for another job at the bank. Had one conversation with them followed by one with the hiring manager. The hiring manager liked me, so the next step was a set of interviews with the rest of the hiring panel. Those were five interviews over multiple days. I didn’t end up getting the job, which is fine (it happens), but here’s the thing: After all that, they never actually got back to me. They just strung me along for a couple of months, saying they were still interviewing, then ghosted altogether. It was very disrespectful and made me feel like I wasted my time.
