I applied online and first received a call from HR. During the call, HR asked a few questions related to the MERN stack. After that, I was invited for a physical interview. I applied in January 2026, and my interview also took place in January 2026.
In the physical interview, many technical questions were asked related to MERN stack. Most of the questions were focused on JavaScript and React.js. At the end of the interview, I was given a problem to check whether strings are palindrome or not. After solving it, I was free to leave.
Later, I received a message from HR that I had passed the interview round, and then I got another message for the next final round. The final round was also onsite. In the final round, the interviewer was quite strange. He was the CEO of the company and was conducting the final interview himself.
In the final interview, he discussed my final year project and then asked me to rate myself in different subjects such as DSA, Database, Operating Systems, etc. After that, he gave me a problem like: if we have a list of numbers and one number is missing (for example, 7), how can we find which number is missing. I solved the problem.
At the end, he asked if I wanted to ask any questions. I asked my questions, and then the interview ended. After a few days, I received a message that I was rejected.
If I had to be rejected, it could have been done in the first round. The interviewer in the final round was very strange, and he was the company’s CEO.
