The interview process took approximately five months from beginning to end. From the first meeting, the recruiter set my expectations about their interview process, which was helpful. When I didn't hear from them for weeks, I understood why. I wasn't guessing whether they still liked me or I was a good fit; I knew the right work had not come along yet. From the recruiters all the way to the leadership team, everyone I met was warm and welcoming in a way I had never experienced during an interview process. They truly wanted to get to know me, and for good reason. Yes, ensuring I had the experience I said I had was critical but ensuring I was a culture fit for Slalom was very apparent. They asked good questions and answered the list of questions I proposed to them as well. They do not make quick decisions on who to hire; if you want / need that, there are plenty of consulting firms in this area. Rather they spend time getting to know you over multiple meetings and want you to meet your potential colleagues, which most companies do not typically do as part of the interview process. Overall, a great process!!
