Scheduling occurred without inquiring about or respect for my availability; when I requested another interview time due to a work-related conflict, rescheduling occurred again without communication, resulting in multiple notifications of cancellations and new timeslots, once again without accommodation or respect for my work schedule. Interviewer appeared uninterested, provided no personal warm up, led with "what work are you doing today?", no context or overview of role & responsibilities, not able to answer questions about how teams are resourced, expressed frustration that my experience did not exactly align with a pre-defined role, which may have been more directed at the internal recruiter but came across as if I was wasting his time. Disappointing experience.

Colloquio
A week after I applied online, I was contacted for a brief 1:1 over coffee with their recruiter. Another 1:1 with the hiring manager was set two days later, and a half-day on-site interview was arranged after the Thanksgiving holiday.
Things were well-organized and coordinated, with good communication from their HR Coordinator. Final decision came a few days after the on-site interview. It moved fairly quick, but I was told their internal schedule had moved up and they wanted to fill the position before the end of the year.
The half-day interview was with several different people in turn (not all at once), and it was quickly apparent that culture and fit is very important in Slalom. With only 30 minutes or so per group, it felt like I spent a lot of repeating the same "introduction to me" topics - but to their credit, everyone had read my resume and knew the position being filled.
Overall, a positive experience even though I didn't get the position - Slalom's recruiting team felt more coordinated and professional than many others I've dealt with.
