All of the interviews were very conversational beginning with a screening call with a recruiter. I then had about 6 additional formal conversations/interviews, checking in with the recruiter throughout. While the process did take quite a bit of time, I did feel that I gained a proper understanding of the company and the fellow consultants I would be working with.
Recruiter screening focused on background and fit, followed by a hiring manager interview assessing technical and consulting skills, and a final director round evaluating strategic thinking, communication, and overall alignment.
