In the first stage you are asked to record yourself answering 10 questions. Easy enough and the questions aren’t anything out of the ordinary. The disappointing part was that the company don’t advertise their roles as what they actually are in an effort to attract more candidates, without knowing what they’re signing up for. The roles are not advertised as door to door sales which is exactly what they are. I only found this out when I arrived for my interview at their office.
Upon arrival, a staff member was in the middle of a disciplinary meeting which the whole candidate group could hear clearly. It sounded like a parent shouting at their child.
When it was my turn to interview, the hiring manager seemed more interested in what I do in my free time and if I like drinking/socialising than my professional experience. They also made a comment about my appearance at the end of the interview so I decided not to move forward with the process.
All in all, I think the company need to be more genuine in how they describe the roles and discuss professionalism with senior leadership.
