They came to Anna University, Chennai Campus to Recruit the PG candidates (VLSI, VLSI & EMBEDDED, WIRELESS, Communication Systems), I appeared for Firmware developement, Collected the info for VLSI ppl for FPGA design related info There are two streams for written test. 1. Firmware Development 2. FPGA Design, FPGA Verification Firmware Questions consists of: 1. Unix Basics, 2. C programming 3. MicroController & uP 4. Digital Electronics, 5. Aptitude - we have to workout and find the answers (there is no multiple choice - villan come in this way for me) FPGA Design, Verification 1. Aptitude - 10 (no multiple choice) 2. Digital Electronics, 3. Verilog 4. C Programming 5. Few Microprocessor and Microcontroller questions. The question paper is moderate if we are strong in UG subjects (esp dsd, up & uC and C programming) else it is tough. We need to workout and answer the aptitude questions, they set some creteria for aptitute (must get 5+ marks). I got shortlisted and called for interview.
