I applied via LinkedIn. I was contacted rather quickly by Luc to have a phone interview. I gave him my availability which he confirmed. He then missed the meeting because their offices were closed for MLK day.
I then reached out again and he apologized not realizing it was a holiday during the initial booking.
We rescheduled and I want up to Sausalito where they are located. He made me take some kind of personality test which I found very odd, but I took it. I met with about two more people before meeting their CEO Marin.
I found her to be a strong presence who could either be a real leader or a narcissist, hard to tell.
Th salary that they were offering was laughable and I knew there was no way that I could work for them, but oddly enough due to my experience they decided to sweeten the pot with a higher salary.
About a week later they contacted me to set up round 2 of interviews. I was contacted on a Wednesday to meet the following Tuesday. On Friday I rec'd a message confirming which I did.
Tuesday rolls around and because I have to travel a great distance I confirmed once again for that day's meeting. Low and behold just before I am about to walk out the door the CEO contacts me and states that she is going in another direction. That's it, nothing else.
Her husband/President follows up 2 minutes later that on Thursday, another employee showed interest in the role and they were going to give that person a shot. That's fine, get that part of it. But if you knew on Thursday, why did you confirm on Friday my appointment. You had 3 days to let me know. I almost went all the way to Sausalito for nothing.
Just shows you that sometime luck does intervene and that I may have been dealing with a place with no regard for other people. Remember, I contacted them on that Tuesday and go the "oh by the way". Dodged a bullet clearly.

I got a message to schedule a phone interview. President Luc Troussieux personally called right on time. He was very nice, friendly and made me feel very comfortable during the call, asking about my background and telling me about Smart Meetings. I was then scheduled for an in-person interview. The day of the interview Mr. Troussieux was polite and friendly, asking me many interesting questions. He gave me a tour of the office. He explained, in a positive manner, the results of my personality quiz. I met the CEO, a very interesting person, who gave me a 'values' quiz. A few days later, Mr. Troussieux emailed me, thanking me for the interview and saying in the nicest way I was not selected for the job. I emailed back asking for feedback and he took the time to gave me a very honest and helpful feedback. This is why I give them 5 stars for the interview process.
