We're so sorry that your experience with Smart Sparrow was not positive. Our SF office was just getting off its feet back then, and we probably didn’t unpack the interview process as well as we should have. We have improved since then to make movement through the process clearer.
We do expect a lot of our Sparrows, and our interview process is tough in order to set expectations for what it means to be a member of the team. This always involves a role-related task, and is never applicable to our current or future work. Instead, the in-depth tasks are intended to give you room to show your creativity and problem-solving skills. To be clear, we do not steal candidates' work in any way, shape, or form.
