I had an initial phone call with a recruiter, who I was not impressed by. She wasn’t enthusiastic, well-spoken, or successful at attracting top talent. I sent a thank you note, got no reply. I followed up with her a few weeks later, and still no response. I thought the interview went well on my end, but she didn’t keep me updated on the role and was very rude. I used to think SmartBear was an impressive company and great place to work, but my opinion has drastically changed after the recruiter’s lack of professionalism and rudeness.
