Proof of licensing, questions about experience and availability, observing the ongoing services in the salon and if you work well with all sorts of people, going over the procedures of the salon and pay, then giving a techical interview (free haircut)
Very quick introduction and a tour around the salon space. Started as receptionist while in school and moved to the chair when licensed. Only asked a few questions, mostly about availability due to class schedule.
The interview process was very professional. They explained what to expect on the job and helped determine if the company was the right fit for my needs. We went over all the different options for schedule.
