Applied online and did not receive a response from recruiting. A year had passed and finally received an email from a recruiting manager to schedule a phone screen. The phone screen occurs with the recruiter asking questions not about the role I am applying for but more about knowledge of the company and industry. The call ends with recruiter specifically stating they will contact me to schedule a follow up interview with the team and hiring manager. A week passes with no contact from the recruiter. I follow up with an email and a call to check on the status of my application. I receive no response. A few more weeks pass still no response. I follow up again with emails and phone calls, still no response. It is very unprofessional and amateurish for a company to treat candidates and potential employees. If they treat candidates in such a manner, can you imagine how they treat actual employees and clients?

Couple of rounds of discussion on work history and experience. Generally more conversational than specific. Would consider it easy and not hard to do interviews at Smartsheet. Took me about a week to go through everything.

Interviewers did not seem engaged in the process. It made the overall experience uncomfortable. I believe they had already made a decision and wish they had saved us both the time. Multiple reschedules and a lot of up-front prep work was necessary for the mock project.

Interview process is 3+ rounds, beginning with the HR screen, the direct manager interview, and then the 'loop' interviews with different colleagues across the organization. It is rigorous and detailed, but not too daunting.
