Colloquio
I applied online multiple times. After a couple months a recruiter contacted me for a phone interview. During the phone interview my credentials were accessed and I was asked to come onsite for an interview. The onsite interview was very challenging, I was asked multiple mathematical questions. I interviewed with four people, two at a time.

They took a long time to respond to me. Whole process lasted about 2 months and I went through 3 rounds of interviews. One recorded interview, one online interview, and a final in person interview at the location. They were really nice

How do your current role and the skills you currently use translate to this position
Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto un giorno. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Smith+Nephew (Pittsburgh, PA) nel mese di gen 2025
Colloquio
I received an email stating that, on behalf of Smith+Nephew, they would like to schedule a 30-minute phone interview with me. However, from the start, the interview felt confrontational.
First, the interviewer claimed the position wasn’t suitable for me because I didn’t live in the Pittsburgh area—until I clarified that many people commute daily from Ohio to Pittsburgh. Next, they stated I lacked manufacturing experience, which I corrected by explaining that the majority of my experience has been in manufacturing environments, working directly on the production floor. Finally, the interviewer concluded that I had too much experience for the role.
They flew me out for an interview after several phone interviews, then ghosted me for weeks afterwards. The people seemed nice to work for, but there was a lack of communication in the process.
