Got rejected after onsite because there isn't a "isn’t the perfect match" :
I interviewed for snapchat (Onsite).
I had 5 tech interviews, in all of them I had to write/compile code.
I was able to solve all questions , and ran it with different test-cases.
Even the interviewer said positive things about my solution. I also spoke about my thought process while coding, wrote clean modularised code.
Really surprised, so confused what could have gone wrong? They didn't provide any feedback either :(.
All they wrote was this:
Thanks so much for your interest in Snap Inc. We really appreciate the time you invested in the application / interview process.
Although we saw a lot of strengths in your background we feel there isn’t the perfect match at this time and we have decided not to proceed with your candidacy for Snap Inc.'s Software Engineer role.

Hard but interesting. Had to go through 1 HM round, 2 coding rounds and 2 systems design rounds. Coding round was hit counter, and message recommendation system. The System design rounds were a bit challenging.

Design a recommendation system for messaging to predict the next word while typing
For the technical rounds, I was asked leetcode style questions. Need to practice Data structures and algorithms in order to do well on the interviews. It's important to explain the code as you go along and clarfiy any questions with the interviewer.
Interviewer is not good, has an accent and doesn’t point you in the right direction. Did not seem to be on your side the whole time. It was not a very nice experience.
