I interviewed with Snowed In twice, first in fall 2021 and the second in fall 2023.
In 2021:
1) After 3 rounds of interviews, I received and accepted the job offer
2) I resigned from my previous company
3) Last day of my notice period, Snowed In rescinded the offer, with the reason of the increase in salary requirement of LMIA (I am an international candidate)
4) They offered to help me find a new job, but I didn't get a single interview.
5) They told me that I would be welcome to the company anytime, if I have valid work permit (this proved to be false as I became a permanent resident during my second interview period)
In 2023:
1) A recruiter from Keywords Studios approached me for Snowed In
2) I explained my past experience with the studio and we decided to move forward with the hiring process
3) I took the same 2 rounds of interviews, which I scored a perfect 100/100 from the online assessment
4) Apparently, they decided not to move forward with my application after the perfect score
5) They basically ghosted me (I got generic/stalling answers if any)
In 2021, at least they were good at communicating, and I thought the broken promises were outliers. Not going into further details, but be cautious, they do not keep their promises and tend to prolong the interview process up to 6 months.
