      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura online. La procedura ha richiesto 2 settimane. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso SoSafe nel mese di feb 2022

      Colloquio

IT'S A FRAUD ! I applied on linkedin, then I was contacted by a very young recruiter. The first interview is a 30 minutes usual scan, nothing special. I was asked to prepare a 6 hours case study. I thought it was very unusual because they basically asked me to build the entire pricing for their website (question 1) and for the launch of a new product (question 2). I was said I would get some feedback after a week. A week later, I received an unbelievable email, not personalized (starting with “hey”), which suggests that all candidates, after working on the same assignment, have received the same email. It stated that they had “internal issues” they needed to “sort out” before they could review my and they “cant say more”. I replied asking if they could give me a new deadline as I was also applying to other roles in other companies, expecting offers shortly. A few hours later only, when they had just said they had issues to sort out and would not give me feedback yet, I received an email saying my application was rejected. Never failed at such an early stage in a hiring process and I know for sure the work I provided was consistent. Reading Glassdoor I see that I am not the first one to be tricked - see Marketing candidate’s review bellow. I totally agree with her/him : This is basically free work they are looking for and are using you to provide it for free. Save your time and energy by staying away from these crooks.

Dear Applicant, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely regret that you have had a bad experience with our hiring process. We gladly take your criticism onboard and will now consider how to further improve our process for the future. However, we would like to make it very clear that our process is by no means about exploiting applicants and their ideas. After our initial conversation, we then decide on a highly selective basis, which applicant receives a fictional case study from us to demonstrate their skills. Each submission is then evaluated by the team in a thorough and time-consuming manner, and we strive to provide feedback as promptly as possible. Unfortunately, we were not able to do so in your case, and we are sorry about that. The suggestion of fraud is, however, nevertheless incorrect, whilst understanding your point of view, this is simply not the case. We wish you all the best on your future path and thank you again for your feedback! Best regards & stay safe Your SoSafe HR Team
