i applied for the position of Communications Manager with Sodexo on 11th June and on 25th June I received a call from the recruiter informing me I had been invited to an with two of the senior team members who were recruiting for this position 1st July. At the beginning I was told it was going to be an informal interview to get to know me and for them to tell me more about the role. The interview was intense and felt quite formal, I went through my work history and then listened to one of them explaining how the role came about along with the interview process moving forward. From start to finish the gaps in my cv and subsequent work history was a big deal for them as one of the two kept asking me why I left my last role and I did feel judged. At the end of the interview they said they would be conducting more interviews and had 4 people to see. also I was told that I would hear back from the recruiter by the end of this week. Today a day after my interview I have received a rejection email not providing any feedback and just informing me that i was being assessed on points (I wasn't aware) and scored against their criteria. I have applied to Sodexo a number of times since being made redundant by them in 2020 and this has counted for nothing I wont be applying to them in the future moving forward.
